Training must prepare a person for a career in an occupational area where there are opportunities. The following programs are not eligible for scholarships: barbering, cosmetology, interior design, massage therapy and photography. Training for clerical occupations is only approved for those with previous clerical experience.

Individuals interested in training not on the list and/or offered by schools in addition to those above should inquire with the WIA representative at the One-Stop Workforce Center.
